About me
I am Eric Etheredge, a Texas Notary Public. Before I opened Double E's Notary Services, I spent 36 years working in the financial, government, information technology, and cybersecurity arenas. That is not a side note. It is how I practice.
Notarial work is an identity, privacy, and records problem as much as it is a stamp. In financial and government settings I learned how documents move, who is accountable for them, and what happens when a signature is later challenged. In information technology and cybersecurity I learned how to verify identity, protect personal data, and keep an audit trail that will still make sense years from now.
I bring that discipline to every traditional appointment and every Remote Online Notarization. Identification is checked to Texas law. Journals are kept. Online sessions are recorded because Texas law requires it, and the receiving party decides whether to accept a Texas online certificate. Fees are posted. I am not an attorney and I do not give legal advice — I perform the notarial act carefully and I keep the record.

Traditional work is scheduled in Lubbock and the South Plains (area code 806) and nearby communities, round trip from 3517 78th Dr, Lubbock, TX 79423. Remote Online Notary is available wherever Texas law allows the signer to appear by video — I remain in Texas for every session. Every appointment requires personal appearance and satisfactory identification.
